Gangster Collector's Set: 3 Feature Films

Quality crime film triple-play is a 'steal'
Transfer quality of ECHO BRIDGE's GANGSTER COLLECTOR'S SET is excellent. It's a flip-disc with the third title on Side 2. Except for 15 chapter accesses, there's no extras on these lesser-known but still quite good crime dramas. Unlike past ECHO BRIDGE/PLATINUM DISC releases, this one has no annoying on-screen product logos. It's a fine budget priced triple play of newer pictures and a step in the right direction for this bargain brand purveyor.

Points off for misleading cover photo that depicts a gun-toting Kiefer Sutherland. He's actually 4th banana in a Dennis Hopper film, not as a cool triggerman but a blondish, nerdy skin flick director.

SYNOPSES--
FRANKIE THE FLY - Frankie (Hopper) is a mild-mannered collector and go-fer for mercurial mob boss Sal (Madsen). Everyone calls him "Fly" because flies eat sh.... Frankie docilely swallows his share until he and moviemaker Joey (Sutherland) hatch a plan to kill their antagonist.

Good Movie!
This was a gift for my daughter ( who is a gangster movie buff) and lives in another state. After receiving it she e-mailed me and said this is really good movie and recommends it to all.
